Melanoma is a skin cancer, it is also the worst skin cancer you can have. Melanoma accounts for 5% of the reported skin cancers, but it also accounts for 75% of the deaths of people with skin cancer. Melanoma is a easily treated skin cancer if it is caught early, the success rate is very high when its caught early (stage 0 and 1). Stage 3 and 4 being the worst. If you think you might have a problem act on it, waiting because you don’t have time isn’t a excuse. You need to make time, because this is your life. Our bodies may be strong, but it doesn’t take much to change that.
If you make it a practice to examine your body every month so you can see any changes, its easier if you have someone to help with the places that you can’t see. Pictures are good to help you keep track of the size, remember to use a ruler of some sort so any change will be noticed. For people that have been diagnosed with melanoma or any other skin cancer, regular checks up are needed along with monthly checks of the body.
